”Titanic – The Exhibition” about the world's most famous maritime disaster offers a rare insight into life on board the legendary ocean liner, giving visitors the opportunity to experience reconstructed suites, letters from victims, and priceless original effects from the lost liner. In addition, there will be a special section about the 14 Danes who were on board. ”Titanic – The Exhibition” can be seen at the Tivoli Castle from 10 April.
Admission to all Friday Rock concerts is free for visitors to the Gardens, and the 2011 program includes a total of 23 concerts. It should also be noted that British rock legend Joe Cocker will perform on the Open Air Stage in Tivoli on 2 August.
The Tivoli Festival is the name of Tivoli's ambitious classical concert program which runs from May to September. Among the 2011 season's top classical performers are tenor Jonas Kaufmann, whose performance takes place on 1 August, and soprano Renée Fleming, who will perform at the Concert Hall in connection with Tivoli's birthday on 15 August.
In 2011, last year's successful ballet, Catching the Bolero, and one of the popular H.C. Andersen pantomimes with production designs by H. M. Queen Margrethe II will re-premiere at the Pantomime Theatre. In addition to that, there will be the performances featuring Pierrot, Harlequin and Columbine.
The Nimb Grill & Bar will open in the former dairy at NIMB in 2011, offering steak and seafood from the grill with traditional, optional garnish and wine. The Nimb Hotel has been extended and now has 14 rooms.
