Six Flags America announces Military Appreciation Days

Free admission for active duty military May 14 & 15, 2011
(Bowie, MD)- April 19, 2011- Showing appreciation for the men and women of the US Armed Services, Six Flags America, Maryland’s premier destination for family fun, will offer FREE admission to active United States military personnel on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 14, 2011 as well as the following day, Sunday, May 15, 2011. 

During Military Appreciation Days, any active-duty member of the United States Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, or Coast Guard may show their military ID at Six Flags America ticket booths to receive a complimentary one-day admission to the park. Six Flags America is open from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on May 14, and 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on May 15.

In addition, as part of an ongoing salute to service members and their families, Six Flags America offers military discount tickets for just $19.00 (more than 65% off the regular ticket price of $49.99 plus tax). These discounted tickets are available exclusively at Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) and Information, Tickets, and Tours (ITT) offices at military installations in Maryland; Washington, DC; and Northern Virginia. The discount is offered to any persons eligible to purchase tickets at on-base locations and tickets are valid through October 30, 2011.
